Winter J. Shaul

Fultonham- It is said that Heaven needs children too and while we struggle to understand, we can still feel the warmth and strength of their smiles in the sunshine and see the beautiful, loving twinkle of their eyes in the evening stars.  The same warm, loving strength that Winter Shaul possessed will live on, long after Tuesday, March 31, 2020 has passed, when Winter found eternal peace while doing what all boys do best, playing and having fun.
 
He came into this world on July 15, 2008 and was born with a heart of gold and an eagerness to help anyone in need regardless of task and not surprisingly, he was a member of Cub Scout Pack 30. Winter loved being outdoors, cutting wood, doing yard work with his mom, working on projects with his dad and on his truck, his four-wheeler, his dirt bike and his Farmall Cub tractor. If it had wheels, it had his attention and he even drove the tractor out for ice cream and French fries in the summer. The sky was the limit and his mind never rested, thinking up the next greatest story to tell, making TikToks with his sister and changing his choice of careers weekly, though always coming back to driving trucks.
Winter’s eleven years could have been a hundred years, for the number of lives he touched, the people he knew and the memories he shared and the hearts that will forever love him and hold him close.
 
He was recently predeceased by his grandma Beverly Wainwright and his grandpa: Frank Cardin.
 
Cherishing his life and light forever are his parents: Pamela “Puddin” and James “Froggie” Shaul of Fultonham; his siblings: Jessica Shaul of Potsdam, Kim Shaul of Middleburgh, Dessa (JT) Hart of Auburn, Vera Shaul of Fultonham, Jerry (Katie) Shaul of Fultonham, Zach Shaul of Fultonham; niece and nephews: Payton Shaul, Aiden Shaul, Zander and John Aiden Hart; great-aunt: Vera Shaul of Middleburgh; aunts and uncles: John Shaul, Eunice (David) Conine, Dorothy Shaul, Richard (Delores) Shaul, Charles (Judy) Shaul, Jean (Phil) Terry, Margaret (James) Triplet, Nancy (Davies) Allen, David (Becky) Shaul, and Lillian, Theresa and Duane; his many cousins, teachers, classmates and friends.
 
In keeping with safety measures, in light of current health events, a drive-through visitation with Winter’s family will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 from 4-7PM at the Middleburgh Elementary School driveway, Main Street, Middleburgh. All are invited and requested to remain in their vehicles while still being able to send love, support and assurance to the family, through open windows.
