Ronald Barry, Jr. Obituary

Conesville – Surrounded by the love and light of his family, Ronald L. Barry, Jr. died peacefully on Saturday, April 20, 2019 in the warmth of his home.

Born on June 23, 1978 in Stamford, to Wilma (Tompkins) and Ronald L. Barry, Sr., he enjoyed every one of his forty years, even in his last days.

Growing up along a hillside, Ronnie’s love of nature came naturally. His keen eyes and ears were always open and hunting the perfect target for his bow or he could be found casting his cares into calm waters, rewarded with fresh Walleye, his favorite catch.

Ronnie also loved slipping his fingers into a bowling ball.  Feeling the rush and hearing the excitement with his friends as the pins crashed was music to his ears.  Music also filled his spirit whenever his fingers hit the strings of his bass guitar and his voice joined in singing backup with the other beautiful musical talents of his family.

Ronnie’s greatest passion though, was his family.  He will be loved and held forever in the hearts of his parents, Wilma and Ronald L. Barry, Sr of Conesville, his brothers: Jason Barry (Robin Maceluch) of Conesville and Michael (Beth) Barry of Delmar; his nieces and nephew: Kelly, Jenna, Alexa and Lucas, who all shared special places in their uncle Ronnie’s heart and life and his fun-loving playfulness and teasing them glowing up will be cherished forever.  Ronnie will also be held in the hearts of countless extended family members and friends.

A celebration of Ronnie’s life will be held at 12:00PM on Sunday, April 28, 2019 at Conesville Chapel, State Route 990V, Conesville, with Pastor Dottie Morris leading.  All are invited to a social gathering after the service, across the road, at the Conesville Fire Dept. hall.  Coltrain Funeral Home, LLC, 134 River Street, Middleburgh is honored to be caring for Ronnie and his family.
