Gilboa – Pearl Hallock, formerly of Flat Creek Road, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 15, 2021 at Robinson Terrace in Stamford.
Pearl was born 93 years ago on February 10, 1927 in Preston Hollow, to Lena (Warner) and Harold Rivenburg. She moved to Gilboa in 1952 and worked in the Hallock’s boarding house, where she met Harold Hallock, Sr. They married in 1956 and enjoyed 35 years together before he predeceased her in 1991. Pearl was also predeceased by her brother: “Bucky” Rivenburgh.
A very gentle and warm lady, Pearl enjoyed knitting and crocheting at home and helping others whenever she was able.
Loving her forever are her son: Harold Hallock of Breakabeen and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial graveside service will be held in the spring in Flat Creek Cemetery. Coltrain Funeral Home, LLC, 134 River Street, Middleburgh is honored to be caring for Pearl and her family.
