Michael A. Corrado, 69, of Main Street, died Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Ellis Hospital, following several years of declining health.
Michael was born in Kingston on July 17, 1952 to Shirley (Petramale) and Angelo J. Corrado and served in the United States Air Force from 1971-1973. Michael worked for many years at the New York State Office of Comptroller in Albany, as a computer program analyst.
He loved watching sports, from basketball, football, baseball, hockey and all of the college games too. If there was cockroach racing on television, Michael would be cheering the loudest. He also enjoyed Jeopardy, playing Scrabble and Trivial Pursuit. “Lonesome Dove” and “Dances with Wolves” were a few of his favorite Westerns and his all-time favorite dessert was Chocolate Blackout Cake.
Loving him forever are his son: Michael A. Corrado, of Kingston; wife: Doreen Mancuso of Middleburgh; nephew: Andrew Mancuso of Brooklyn; many other family members and friends.
Michael’s family would like to thank the Doctors and nursing staff at Ellis Hospital for all of the compassion and care they have been shown through Michael’s stay there.
Services will be held privately, at Michael’s request. Coltrain Funeral Home, LLC, of Middleburgh is honored to be caring for Michael and his family.
