It is with immense sadness that the family of Maureen Keller of Middleburgh, NY announces her passing on Thursday March 3, 2022 with her loving family by her side. There is so much to say about this beautiful soul who lived and loved life to the fullest.
Gentle and beautiful inside and out, she always saw the best in others. She was generous and selfless with all the things that matter in life such as her love and time. She lived first and foremost for God and her family. To her there was no greater gift then having her family gathered together with as many little ones snuggled on her lap as possible. She doted on her grandchildren spoiling them with her endless love and teaching them how to live a gentle humble life. She lived life with brevity, strength and courage. She did not falter. Her soul was fed through her family, especially the little ones as well as through nature, the ocean, gardening, reading, music and all things Tom Sellick.
Holidays and family events were always better with her rice crispy treats, cookies and cupcakes but most of all with her presence. Her husband said it best when he said, “She was the love of my life”. She was the love of all our lives.
We rejoice now she can always ‘Look at the moon’. We know now if we hear her voice saying ‘I will fly across this table’ to be careful as now Maureen can fly.
Loving her forever are her husband: Kurt Keller; her children: April (Nicole) Dunn, Tracey Johnson, Noelle (Matt) Armlin and Brian Keller, all of Middleburgh; her grandchildren: Shania, Jenna, Benjamin, Ciara, Brady, Aurielle, Gabrielle, Matthew, Landon, Riley; great-grandchildren: Colton, Caison, Easton; sisters: Kathleen, Eileen, Jeannine, Kelli and Helene; brothers: James, William, Matthew and Vincent.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00AM on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, Main Street, Middleburgh with Father Thomas Zelker as celebrant.
