Mary E. Curran, of Cliff Street, found eternal peace on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 in the loving care of her family.
Mary was born 92 years ago, on May 18, 1930 at home in the Town of Broome, to Mamie (Whitbeck) and Robert Felter. The most important thing to Mary was her family and she made them all a priority from the time she was married. Mary was blessed to have several of her children close by and loved spending time with everyone and hearing from others farther away about everything going on in their lives. Mary's faith was also a constant in her heart, though not always able to attend church, it was her faith that she always leaned on through difficult moments. She also took pleasure in crocheting, raising a multitude of house plants, never passed by a good yard sale in search of a treasure and she dearly loved her rescue pup, "Teddy."
Cherishing her love forever are her children: Tammy Freeman (Tony Marsh), Donna (John) Enright, Sandra Wood (Tim Warner) and Kathy (Joe) Best; Floyd G. (Buffy) Armlin, Jr., Nelson (Hope) Armlin; siblings: Raymond Felter and David Felter; 31 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Mary was predeceased by her first and second husbands: Floyd G. Armlin Sr., and Robert Curran; her children: Dorothy Dyer, Sally Armlin and Thomas Armlin; her siblings: Lester Felter, Robert Felter, Joan McMullen and infant brother: John Felter.
A graveside service and celebration of Mary's life will be at a later date to be announced. Coltrain Funeral Home, LLC of Middleburgh is honored to be caring for Mary and her family.
