Jeffrey Kingsbury Obituary

Looking up, with a beautiful peace and calm in his eyes, he saw “so many of them” in his own words and surely Jeffrey D. Kingsbury, 47, of Preston Hollow found his eternal rest in the love of those angels on November 27, 2020 from the warmth of his home and the loving embrace of his family and his faithful fur-buddy, Thor.

A proud Veteran, Jeff served in the United States Air Force for 23 years and did many overseas tours while enlisted, holding a very special place in his heart for his service to his country and his comrades.

The life of the party, Jeff was always doing his crazy things to make people smile with him and his crazy adventures.  He had a passion for hunting each year with his wife and a great group of family and friends, always seeking that big buck.  He also relished the quiet solitude by the side of a pond or a lake, patiently waiting for a tug on his fishing line.

His laughter and love will be felt and heard forever at gatherings and his old stories will always be shared among family and friends.

Loving him forever are his wife: Nicole of Preston Hollow, his beautiful daughters: Brianna (Andy) Pogorzelski of Woodbury, CT and Brooke (Dante) Ordonez of Schenectady and he was the fun-loving Papa to his “Bentley Boy!” Jeff will also be held forever in the hearts of his parents: Douglas (Arleen) Kingsbury of Williamsburg, VA. and Bonnie Masker of Cobleskill; his sister: Chelsea (RJ) Muchata of Williamsburg, VA. and his very special friend and mother to his daughters: Michelle Kingsbury along with a lifetime of other family members and friends.

While a memorial service will be held privately, all are invited to a visitation with Jeff’s family from 2:00-4:00PM on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Coltrain Funeral Home, LLC. 134 River Street, Middleburgh NY 12122. Facial coverings and social distancing will be required and respected by all.

In celebration and in fun, Jeff’s family requests that you wear your craziest socks, just like the ones Jeff is famous for and proudly show them at visitation.
