Gloria G. Disbury

Gloria G. Disbury, of MT Path, found eternal peace on Sunday, June 6, 2021 at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown. 
 
Gloria was born 88 years ago on July 12, 1932 to Gizella (Kaila) and Henry Wernau.  Gloria worked as a phone operator for the NY Telephone Company before moving to Middleburgh in 1978 and then at the former Central National Bank.  Her child-like enthusiasm, smile, devilish sense of humor and laughter will long be remembered by her colleagues and generations of children from the many, many years she spent as an aide in the Middleburgh Elementary School library.  Children were truly her greatest love, along with her own family and friends. 
 
She will be loved forever by her daughters: Suzanne (Paul) Fuchs of Huntersland, Nancy Schmidt of Schoharie and Sandy (Patrick) Costello of Middleburgh; her 8 grandchildren; her 5 great-grandchildren; her 3 siblings and many nieces and nephews.
 
Honoring her wishes, no formal services will be held, but her family thanks you for remembering her and them through this time.  Coltrain Funeral Home, LLC of Middleburgh is honored to be caring for Gloria and her family.
