It is with deep sorrow and much love, that we mourn the passing of our beloved husband and father, Dale R. Denny on July 3, 2023 at 81 years old.
Dale was born on February 24, 1942 in West Fulton to Eunice (Fancher) and Corwin Denny, attended Middleburgh Central School and worked at Carpenters Union Local #370 in Albany for 38 years.
Dale was a member of the West Fulton Rod and Gun Club, the West Fulton Methodist Church, an honorary member of the Town of Fulton Historical Society and former Chief and 62-year member of the West Fulton Fire Department.
Dale loved his family first, keeping busy with work, a jack-of-all-trades and Ford vehicles. He proudly restored and showed his 1953 Ford pickup and his 1972 Mustang, earning over 100 trophies. A clever man and witty, he loved being in his garage tinkering or outdoors. In younger years, he enjoyed horseback riding, hunting, snowmobiling and skating, where he met his wife.
Dale will be lovingly missed by his wife of 60 years: Marie Denny; his daughter: Dr. Noreen Denny of Greenville, NC; his grandson: Jacob Denny of Rotterdam; his brother: Corwin E. Denny of Mary Ester, FL.; many nieces, nephews and dear, lifelong friends in the community. Dale was predeceased by his parents; his son: Michael R. Denny; sisters: Vivian Smith, Marion Wolfe, Doris Palmer.
