Middleburgh- Warren Slater, Sr., 68, of Hill Road, died peacefully on Monday, November 13, 2017 at Cobleskill Regional Hospital.

He was born at home in Middleburgh to Grace (Foster) and Frederick Slater.

Warren attended Middleburgh Central School and worked for over 30 years at Shaul Farms in Fultonham.

A simple man, Warren enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing and hunting.

He was predeceased by his parents and 4 siblings.

Warren's surviving family includes his children: Tammy Slater of Prosperity, SC and Warren Slater, Jr. of Lexington, SC; his 5 grandchildren: Austin, David, Jeffrey, Carly and Savannah; his sister: Janet and his sister: Gwendolyn (Donald "Bo") Watson of Middleburgh and many nieces and nephews.

His family thanks you for remembering them through this difficult time and honoring Warren's wishes, burial will be in the Middleburgh Cemetery, following private services.
