Obituary

Thomas V. Gorman, of Middleburgh, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 from declining health.

"T-Gor," as he liked to be called, was born 72 years ago on October 24, 1953 in Schenectady to Mary M. (Hill) and James F. Gorman and graduated from Schoharie Central School.

A talented painter, he worked at General Electric in Schenectady and for himself. He also tended bar and drove trucks over the years before retiring.

He was an avid softball and darts player and loved aiming and hearing the billiard cue putting the balls in the pockets. He lived life on his terms, often singing "I Did It My Way."

"T-Gor" is survived by his sisters: Patricia Zach of Middleburgh and Mary Ann Carcaci of Sloansville; his brother: James P. (Karen) Gorman of Schenectady; his daughter: Amanda Gorman of Middleburgh; his son: Daniel (Elisabeth) Gorman of Albany; his aunt Catherine "Cappy" Santos; many nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother: Michael Gorman.

Inurnment will be in the Old Stone Fort Cemetery at the family's convenience, and they thank you for remembering him and them through this time.
