Middleburgh – Thomas M. Dunn 68, of Middleburgh, formerly of Mastic Beach, died Monday, March 18, 2019 in the peace of his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Thomas was born in Manhattan on October 29, 1950 to the late Margaret I. (O'Callaghan) and Thomas C. Dunn.

He was a proud United States Marine Veteran, serving from 1969 to 1972 during the Vietnam War.

He was a trackman and equipment operator for 25 years for the Long Island Railroad.   After retiring he moved to his beloved hilltop home 16 years ago savoring the peace and solitude of living in the country. Thomas also enjoyed working in his gardens and loved being with his family and friends.

Thomas was the beloved husband of Kathleen T. (Regan) Dunn of Middleburgh, NY, loving father of Kelly(Christopher) Guzzi of Richmond Hill, Ga, Thomas(Jennifer)Dunn of Middleburgh, NY, Jamie Dunn (Dominick Catalano) of Middleburgh, NY; loving grandfather of Dominick, Penelope, Gavin, Fiona, Lola, Malachi, Savannah; adored brother of Cornelius, Brian, Patrick and the late Michael Dunn; beloved uncle to 5 nieces and 2 nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Coltrain Funeral Home, LLC, 134 River Street, Middleburgh, NY with Military Honors on Friday, March 22, 2019 at 12:30PM.
