Richard "Dick" Frank Novak, Jr. of Middleburgh passed away peacefully on February 21, 2026.

Dick was born 73 year ago on August 23, 1952 in Concord, NH and grew up in Hillsborough, NH, eventually building a life for himself in Middleburgh, NY. Regardless of where he rested his head, he formed lasting friendships wherever he went.

Dick was a simple man with a huge heart who found joy in spending time with others, sharing a meal, a story, a laugh or a well-timed joke. He took pride in sharing his passions and knowledge, whether discussing politics, helping a friend or family member with a welding project, loaning out a tool or talking about motorcycles.

Dick will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched and remembered for his generosity, his humor and his unwavering willingness to lend a hand.

In keeping with Dick's wishes and request, no formal services will be held. Those who knew and loved him are encouraged to honor his memory in their own meaningful way.
