Stamford- Phyllis A. Mattice, 81, died Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Robinson Terrace, where she had resided since 2015.

Phyllis was born on December 22, 1935 in the Town of Esperance to that late Kathryn (Davis) and Nathan Egnor.

She lived in several places through the years and worked at many different locations, including Cobleskill Hospital as an aide, stockroom manager at Jamesway in Cobleskill, knitting machine operator in Johnstown and most recently as a greeter at the Oneonta Walmart.

Phyllis loved playing lottery tickets, spending time with family and friends and traveling when she was able.

She was married to William Mattice until his death in 1986 and she was also predeceased by 4 of her siblings.

Her family includes her daughters: Cynthia (Jesse) Diamond of Cobleskill, Audrey (Garry) Lane of Gloversville; son: Shawn Mattice of Johnstown; grandchildren: Nona Lane, Naydene Mattice, Brian Armer; sister: Frances VanSandt of Homer, AK.

No formal services will be held, but her family thanks you for remembering her and them through this time.
