Philip I. Armlin, Jr., of Armlin Hill, was welcomed home to Heaven and the loving arms of his Savior on Monday August 3, 2026.

He was born 65 years ago in Cobleskill on October 20, 1960 to Joan (Yung) and Philip I. Armlin, Sr. and graduated from Middleburgh Central School. Phil recently retired from the Town of Fulton Highway Dept. and loved working and keeping up on the latest news and happenings with family and friends.

His smile and welcome greeting extended to anyone who crossed his path and strangers, though few, were only friends he hadn't met yet at the gas pumps or while getting his coffee.

When not working or visiting, Phil could be found at home in nature, on the hillside of his ancestors and the beautiful creation of the God he cherished deeply. His heart also belonged to his beautiful wife, who only said the words, and Phil was ready to leave his mountain and follow on the adventure. Trips across the country and incredible cruises at sea, there wasn't much of this word they hadn't explored together creating lifetime memories. Their love was strengthened and deepened by their shared faith in each other and in the Lord.

Loving Phil forever are his soulmate: Sheila (Lebrun) Armlin, whom he married on March 25, 2004; his mother: Joan Flitcroft, of Cobleskill; his cousin and best friend; Andy Fisher of Middleburgh; along with many other cousins, friends and his Calvary Assembly of God family, where he and Sheila worshipped for over 20 years.
