Esperance – Peter R. Tanner, 46, of Priddle Road, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at his residence, following declining health.

Peter was born on May 23, 1972 in Cobleskill to Linda (Laraway) and the late Robert Tanner.

He worked at NYS DOT for 13 years, before his health deteriorated.

Kind-hearted and funny, Peter enjoyed time spent with his children, especially around the bonfire.  He also enjoyed playing video games, NASCAR and Metallica.

He will be remembered forever by his wife: Bonnie Tanner and children: Tatum, Destinee and Jacob Tanner, all of Hobart; his mother: Linda Tanner of Cobleskill; his brothers: Scott Tanner of Richfield Springs, Brian (Rachel) Tanner and Robert Tanner, all of Rensselaerville; many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Peter's life will be held privately, at the convenience of his family who also extend their gratitude to Coltrain Funeral Home, LLC. 134 River Street, Middleburgh for their care.
