Marvin Rose, Jr., of Fultonham, found eternal peace on Wednesday, August 26, 2026.

He was born in Albany on March 25, 1963 to Jean (Oakley) and Marvin Rose, Sr. A talented craftsman and contractor, his hands worked on many construction projects through the years, with plumbing and heating being his specialty.

Marvin loved being outdoors. Hunting, fishing and camping, riding his 4-wheeler and working around his home all kept him busy and brought him relaxation. Life's greatest joy though, was seeing his grandson born and spending as much time as he could with him.

Loving Marvin forever are his wife, Deborah (Gates) Rose, whom he married on August 22, 1998; his daughters: April Rose (Joseph Beretz, III) of Hoffman TX, Anne Rose (Dustin Neil) of Corona, CA. and Heather Rose (Matthew Chavez) of Beaver Dam, VA; his grandson: Joseph Beretz, IV; his sisters: Tina Macerola and Vicky Rose, both of Schenectady and his brother: Ronnie (Tina) Robinson, of Gilboa. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother: Richard Rose.

All are invited to a visitation with Marvin's family from 11:00-12:00 PM on Friday, September 11, 2026 at Coltrain Funeral Home, LLC 134 River Street, Middleburgh, NY 12122. A memorial service will be held at 12:00PM, following the visitation. Inurnment will follow in Saints Cyril and Method Cemetery, 611 Duanesburg Rd, Rotterdam, NY 12306
