Middleburgh – Martin McNeill, 89, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 with his loving wife at his side.

Martin was born in New York City and came to the Schoharie Valley as a teenager, to work at the Reinhart farm on East Hill.  He never shied away from hard work and dedicated himself to many local farms through the years and even did roofing for a time.  He lived in Middleburgh, North Blenheim, Montana and most recently Schoharie before moving into the Palatine Nursing Home for extended care.

He loved the outdoors, hunting and trapping.  Martin also shared a good sense of humor and enjoyed a good joke.

Cherishing his memory forever are his wife of over 60 years, Madeline (Lawyer) McNeill; his sister-in-law: Arlene "Snooks" Lawyer; his brother-in-law: Roger "Butch" (Connie) Lawyer and all of their families.

While no formal services are being held, his family thanks you for remembering Martin and them through this time.
