Madeline McNeill, 83, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at the Palatine Nursing Home where she had been receiving care.

Madeline was born at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady on July 3, 1937 to Lottie (Rorick) and Harley Lawyer. She was married to Martin McNeill for over 60 years before his predeceasing her last year and devoted herself to caring for their home while living in Middleburgh, North Blenheim, Montana and most recently Schoharie before moving into the Palatine Nursing Home for extended care.  Madeline loved putting puzzles together, taking long rides through the beautiful countryside and stopping to visit with friends and family along the way.

Cherishing her memory forever are her sister: Arlene "Snooks" Lawyer; her brother: Roger "Butch" (Connie) Lawyer and all of their families.

A memorial graveside service will be held for Madeline and Martin together, in the spring, in Middleburgh Cemetery and her family thanks you for remembering Madeline and them through this time.
