Laura Haverly, of Union Street, passed away in the comfort of her home on Saturday, May 11, 2024.

Laura was born 98 years ago on December 25, 1925 in Manhattan, to Catherine (Palmatier) and Joseph Cottone.

Laura helped at their family business, Haverly's Auto Supply in Middleburgh for several years but mostly enjoyed taking care of her home.  She also enjoyed bowling in younger years and traveled with her husband across the United States, to Mexico and the Virgin Islands.

Laura married Byron "Bud" Haverly on October 30, 1953 and he predeceased her on July 22, 2016.  She was also predeceased by her sister: Sarah Drago.

Laura is survived by her daughter: Kathryn Ferdinandi; her sons: Byron W. (Kathy) Haverly and Allan C. Haverly; her grandchildren: Bonnie Simmons, Andrea Slater Joseph Ferdinandi, Byron Haverly, Ian Haverly, Kyle Haverly and many great-grandchildren.

In keeping with Laura's wishes, private inurnment will take place in Riverview Cemetery, North Blenheim, NY.
