Middleburgh- Joseph A. Romberg, 63, of Lorraine Drive, died Friday, September 29, 2017 at Ellis Hospital in the company of his loving family.

Joe was born in Manhattan on August 25, 1954 to the late Mary (Lochli) and Ernest Romberg.

Joe worked for many years as an elevator repair specialist with Hallmark Elevator in Queens.

He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.  Joe loved to cook and spend time with his family and friends, keeping track of all that was happening in their lives.

Joe leaves his wife: Gail Romberg of Middleburgh, daughters: Jennifer Bell of Middleburgh, Rachael Hamm of Middleburgh, Kathryn (Charles) Harris of Schoharie; sons: Jeremi Sherman of Schoharie, Joseph Romberg, Jr. of Fultonham; granddaughters: Savannah and Jaylah Bell, Olivia Hamm, Skylar and Alexandria Romberg and Lillian Harris.

Honoring Joe's wishes, a celebration of his life will be held privately at the family's convenience.
