Joseph C. Pleickhardt died peacefully on Sunday, January 14, 2024.
Joe was born in Brooklyn on September 19, 1950 to Delores (Warwick) and Joseph Pleickhardt.
Joe served multiple times in the United States Navy throughout the 1970s and 1980s.
Many may remember him driving tour bus with K&K Bus Lines in Richmondville before retiring. He loved riding his motorcycles, collecting antique coins and in his younger years, he loved getting down on the floor and playing barbies with his granddaughter Jessica as well as talking and spending time with his grandkids. He also loved his family at Fusion Community Church very much.
Joe was predeceased by his parents Delores & Joseph Pleickhardt, Loving girlfriend Sherrill Shaw, Brother Kenneth Pleickhardt Sister Virginia Pleickhardt.
He is survived by his daughters: Pamela (William) Pleickhardt-Truax and Holli Cook; brothers: John (Nancy) Pleickhardt, Michael Pleickhardt and Robert Pleickhardt; sisters: Janice (William) Hopster and Delores Moon; many grandchildren and nieces & nephews and his church family.
A celebration of Joe's life will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at the Fusion Community Church, 375 North Grand Street, Suite 3, Cobleskill, NY 12043. All are invited to visit with his family, from 1:00-2:00PM, prior to the service. Coltrain Funeral Home, LLC of Middleburgh is honored to be caring for Joe and his family.
