Joseph J. Bergan passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Albany Medical Center.

Joe was born 61 years ago to Ann E. (Newman) and Francis J. Bergan on January 6, 1960 in Dorchester, MA.

Joe loved Country music, taking day trips and visiting with all of his family.  A quiet, truly gentle man, he was happiest when he was painting one of his beautiful pictures or savoring his favorite foods.  He never missed a meal, or sharing his smile.

Joe will be loved forever by his siblings: Patricia "Trish" Bergan of Middleburgh, Anne Bergan of Martinsburg, WV and Christopher Bergan; his niece and nephew: Elizabeth Scafuto of Troy and Anthony Scafuto of E. Bridgewater, MA and his great-niece: Abigail along with all of his extended family and caregivers at his ARC home in Middle Granville, NY.

A memorial in celebration of Joe's life will be held next spring at a date to be announced and interment will be in Middleburgh Cemetery, with his parents.
