Jeffrey Mickle's life was taken by a senseless act of violence, and that along with the hardships of life are what we lay to rest. While change is certain, without it there couldn't be butterflies and it's the best memories of Jeff that hold and sustain his family and his friends. From the beginning when he was born, through his childhood and his hard work and perseverance to graduate from Schoharie Central School and proudly hold his diploma. And never one to shy away from work, Jeff excelled at landscaping when he worked at Thumper's in Schenectady, not surprising because he loved being outdoors.
Patiently waiting for the prize buck or that tug on his fishing line helped relieve the cares of the day and refresh his spirit, adding to his unique perspective on life. Never far from his side either were his trusted companions, "Milo," "Tito" and "Rocky." He was also an incredible cook, turning simple ingredients and recipes into delicious meals. And above all else, he shared that "money doesn't mean anything, family is everything." And how right he is.
Loving and cherishing his memory forever are his daughters: Kiersten Mickle (Logan Meade) and Alivia Mickle; his son: Joshua Lighthall; his granddaughter: Everly Meade; his parents: Christine and Larry Mickle; his sister: Melissa Cooper (Jason Blackmur); his nephews: Cody and Toby Cooper; his uncle: Timothy Duren and many cousins and friends.
All are invited to a visitation with Jeff's family from 5:00-7:00PM on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at Coltrain Funeral Home, LLC 134 River Street, Middleburgh.
