Middleburgh- James Foley, 75, of Grove Street, died peacefully at his home on Tuesday, November 28, 2017.

He was born in New York City to the late Rose (Groller) and Jerry Foley.

A proud survivor of Willowbrook State School, he had rough exterior, enjoyed telling people to "get," earning him the affectionate title of "grumpy old man."

He loved trains, listening to Country music and the warmth of his home in Middleburgh, where he has lived for the last 30 years.

James is survived by his brother Jerry and many loving family members of the Schoharie County ARC that shared his life.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, December 1, 2017 at Coltrain Funeral Home, LLC, 134 River St. Middleburgh, with Fr. Matthew Wetsel of Our Lady of the Valley officiating.  Burial will follow in Middleburgh Cemetery.  All are invited to a visitation from 10AM-11AM prior to the funeral service.
