IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Henry G.
Haslun
March 22, 1941 – April 19, 2025
Henry G. "Hank" Haslun, of Middleburgh, passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2025.
Hank was born 84 years ago in Cobleskill, to Leona (Walker) and Henry G. Haslun, Sr. and graduated from the former Richmondville High School.
Hank was a truck driver by trade, hauling over the road for many years before going to work as a driver and mechanic with the Town of Fulton Highway Department. Gasoline, Diesel and oil were his essentials and a good wrench could loosen or tighten any problem. He turned them frequently, aiding in the restoration of his 1966 Jeep Gladiator pickup and his 1985 Harley Davidson with a sidecar. Both were orange and black of course. And the stories he could share, from anecdotes to life lessons he picked up along the way, strangers were merely friends Hank hadn't met yet to share a story and a laugh with. And always in his signature navy blue coveralls.
Loving Hank forever are his wife: Carole (Foland) Haslun, whom he married on March 22, 2003; his children: Nadine (Donald) Felter and "Cliff" Haslun; his step-daughters: Elizabeth (James) Kosier and Gretchen (James) Becker; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Per Hank's request, no formal services will be held and his family thanks you for remembering him and them through this time.
