Gertrude H. Shaul, of Mill Valley Road, passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at her home.

Gertrude was born 80 years ago on June 25, 1941 in Middleburgh to Elizabeth (Ramm) and Ernst Kramer.

She worked as a Registered Nurse at Ellis Hospital, Eden Park, and Cobleskill Hospital for many years.

Gardening was her passion, which included creating beautiful stone walkways and walls. She also enjoyed making wine from grapes that she grew, reading, interior decorating, amateur photography, skiing, traveling to Europe, and dancing, especially the waltz.

Trudy was a member of Saint Mark's Lutheran Church, where she enjoyed sewing and quilting with the church ladies in the Phoebe Circle.

Gertrude is survived by her sons, Ian "Josh" Shaul (Stephanie Truesdell), Luke Shaul, her step-son, Perry Shaul Jr. (Amy), and her sister, Elizabeth Farrell. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jacob Shaul, Kim, Perry III, and Amanda. She was predeceased by her husband, Perry Shaul and her son, Shane Shaul.

At Gertrude's request, there will be no services.
