George Cassidy, Sr, of Cobleskill, NY passed away on September 21, 2023.

George was a retired carpenter and highly skilled craftsman in the construction field. Retirement did not slow him down though and he continued to keep his skills sharp by helping family and friends with renovation projects.

Between projects, he worked on his own endeavors that he liked to continually tweak and improve upon. When he did take a moment or two to relax, George enjoyed getting in a round of golf and time spent with family and friends.

George is survived by his wife: Kimberly; his daughter: Erika Cassidy; his son: George Cassidy, Jr., his seven grandchildren: Luis, Samara, Hannah, Haley, Jase, Emmett, Linnea; his great-grandchildren: Jayce, Ray'Meir; his sisters: Ginny Cassidy and April Cassidy-Mulbury; his two nieces and four nephews.  George was predeceased by his great-grandchild: Dion and his brother-in-law: Scott.

A celebration of George's life will be held next year, at a date to be announced.
