Frank E. Weidman, Jr., of Warnerville, died peacefully at his home on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 in the care of his sisters and Helios.

Frank was born 78 years ago on January 5, 1948 in Oneonta, to Harriett (McIntyre) and Frank Weidman, Sr. and was a hard worker, leaving school early to help on the Chester Gordon Farm in Lawyersville. He later worked at SUNY Cobleskill in the cafeteria for 35 years before retiring.

He enjoyed going to lawn sales and had a keen eye for a good bargain. He also enjoyed being with friends. Frank was a member of Cobleskill Lodge #394 F & AM and the Order of the Eastern Star.

Frank is survived by his sisters: Nancy Thompson of Carlisle and Ann Dunn of Central Bridge; his nephews: Russell Thompson, Mark Thompson, Charles Thompson and Daniel Thompson, all of Cobleskill; and many cousins.

A visitation with Frank's family will be held from 10:00-11:00AM on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at Coltrain Funeral Home, LLC, 134 River Street, Middleburgh, NY 12122. A Funeral service will be held at 11:00AM following the visitation. Interment will be in Lawyersville Cemetery.
