Middleburgh: Ellen M. Bauers, 75, of M.T. Path, died peacefully at her home on Monday, May 8, 2017.

Ellen was born on July 11, 1941 in Schenectady to Frances (Joslyn) and Richard H. Bauers.

Ellen worked as the Operations Manager for Right On Casuals in Yonkers and was active with the Ridge Runners Snowmobile Club, MEVAC and St. Mark's Lutheran Church in years past.

She enjoyed baking and trap shooting, but was most fond of the tranquility and peace found in the solitude of home, with her beloved cat, traveling and living through her passion for reading.

Ellen is survived by her sons: Rory S. (Stacie) Wilsey of San Antonio, TX and Aaron R. (Jane) Wilsey of Middleburgh; her grandchildren: Daniel, Bryan, Nichole, Nicholas; great-grandchildren: Cannola, Rory, Ezekiel and by her closest and cherished friend: Patricia Cooper of Middleburgh.

A Memorial Service will be planned for a later date, at the convenience of the family.
