Elaine F. Loucks, of Middleburgh, found eternal peace on Monday, August 17, 2026 in the comfort of her home.

Elaine was born 64 years ago on April 8, 1962 in Cobleskill, to Doris (Bender) and Phillip Lawyer and graduated from Middleburgh Central School. Her warmth and caring will be fondly remembered by friends, teachers and students alike who knew and worked with her over her 30 year career at Middleburgh Central as a teacher's aide.

Elaine loved Country music and attending concerts with her mom as well as embracing every moment she could with her grandson, who lit up her world.

Loving Elaine forever are her husband: Michael D. Loucks, Sr. of Middleburgh; her son: Michael D. (Danielle) Loucks, Jr. of Davenport; her grandson: Logan M. Loucks of Davenport; her mother: Doris Lawyer of Middleburgh; her siblings: Loujean (Eric) Merchant of Hyndsville, Kenneth "Tim" (Jill) Lawyer of Schoharie, Phillip "Sam" (Wendy) Lawyer of Sharon Springs; her mother-in-law: Leona Loucks of Middleburgh; many nieces, nephews, her aunt and cousins. Elaine's spirit was welcomed by her son, Michael P. Loucks and her father, who both predeceased her.

All are invited to a graveside committal service for Elaine at 11:00AM on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 in the Old Stone Fort Cemetery, Schoharie, NY.
