Earl "Butch" Edward Allen passed away peacefully on Friday, August 21, 2026 at the age of 83. He was born on May 13, 1943 in Cold Spring, NY to Delicey (Pinckney) and Ernest Allen Jr.

Butch dedicated 39 years to the Teamsters, 10 years to New York State and was a founding member and Chief of North Highlands Fire Department. Butch could usually be found around North Blenheim helping a neighbor, tinkering in his basement shop, or enjoying the company of his close friend Adam (Trinity) Leppig.

Butch was a pillar of knowledge and the epitome of patience. He was always ready to lend a hand and crack a joke. He will be greatly missed by his family and community.

Butch is survived by his companion of 26 years: Michela Colletti; his five children: William (Patty) Allen, Timothy Allen, Space Lee (Gene) Kelly, Heather Magagnos Brown and David (Rudy) Allen; his eight grandchildren, 9 great-grand children and his beloved sister: Judy Dolan.

In keeping with Butch's request, no formal services will be held,  a coffee can will do just fine, and his family thanks you for remembering him and them through this time.
