Manorkill – Douglas H. Doyle, 73, of Beaver Hill Road, passed away peacefully at home on November 1, 2018, after a long illness.

Doug was born on October 5, 1945 in Sharon Springs to the late Marietta (Banks) and Harold J. Doyle.

He had worked at Greendell Processing from 1964 until their closing in the early 1980's. Doug loved being outdoors and went to work as caretaker for many local cemeteries until 2004.

Doug's greatest passion was for sports.  It didn't matter whether it was baseball, basketball or football, he rooted equally hard for his favorite teams: the Lakers, the Dodgers and the Jets.

Holding his memory forever are his loving wife, Carolyn (Green) Doyle, whom he married on July 4, 1964 and their children: Jamie (David) Seyboth of Ballston Lake, Sanford (Melissa) Doyle of Ballston Spa, Stephanie (Kenneth) Marschilok of Worcester and Tracey (Peter) Engler of Rutherfadton, NC; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; his siblings: Mavis (Russell) Miller of Middleburgh and Roger (Jean) Doyle of Middleburgh.

All are invited to a graveside service at 1PM on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Manorkill Cemetery, Potter Mountain Road, Manorkill with Pastor Dottie Morris officiating.
