Middleburgh – Dawne M. Caruso, 55, of Pine Street died unexpectedly on Friday, June 8, 2018 at her home.

Dawne was born in Riverhead, New York on December 10, 1962 to Diane (Munch) and Richard Crowell who both predeceased her.

Dawne moved to Middleburgh in 1999 from West Hempstead and worked at Mart Cleaners in Cobleskill before teaching at Cornerstone Christian Academy for several years.

She loved the outdoors, nature, camping, swimming and listening to music, especially Neil Diamond.

Dawne treasured her family and will be kept forever be in the hearts of her husband, Joseph Caruso of Middleburgh, whom she married on September 6, 1986 and her children: Michelle Caruso of Malta, Angela Caruso and Joseph Caruso both of Middleburgh; her  siblings: Karen and Craig of California; her aunt Lynn, many nieces and nephews and her mother-in-law: Pauline Caruso and brother-in-law: Salvatore Caruso both of Middleburgh.

A memorial service will be held at 7PM on Friday, June 15, 2018 at Coltrain Funeral Home, LLC, 134 River Street, Middleburgh.  All are invited to visit with Dawne's family from 6-7PM on Friday, prior to the memorial service.
