Daivid J. Trombley, Sr., of Gorge Road, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 20, 2025.

David was born 64 years ago on December 2, 1960 in Malone, NY to Veronica (Souica) and Herbert R. Trombley and attended Middleburgh Central School.

David learned the art of logging early on and was known locally for his skill and attention to detail.  He applied the same skills when excavating and creating beautiful stone walls.

David enjoyed hunting, trap shooting, playing dice, cards and a good clam bake with family and friends and generously shared his time and abilities whenever needed, with no expectation.

David is survived by his wife, Lynda (Butler) Trombley of Middleburgh; his children: Amy Trombley and David J. Trombley, Jr. both of Middleburgh; grandchildren: Sophia Trombley and her mother: Sarah Livingston and Leonard Charletta, III all of Middleburgh; his sisters: Peggy (Monroe) Kennison of Middleburgh and Linda (Terry) Ryan of Ellenburg, NY; his father-in-law: Vic McCoy; brothers-in-law: Roger (Laura) Butler, James (Sue) Butler, Steven (Diane) Butler and Charles (Jessica) Butler, Jr.; and many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. He was predeceased by his mother-in-law: Maryanne McCoy; father-in-law: Charles Butler, Sr. and sister-in-law: Lisa Blodgett.

A celebration of David's life will be held at the convenience of his family and they thank you for remembering him and them through this time.
