Cyndra L. Niekamp found eternal peace on Wednesday, April 16, 2025.

Cindy was born 68 years ago on September 10, 1956 in Cobleskill to Dorothy (Earles) and Kenneth Schrom, Sr. and graduated from Middleburgh Central school in 1974.

She was a lifelong resident of Schoharie County and had worked for many years at the Walmart Distribution Center in Sharon Springs.  She loved listening to music, especially Conway Twitty, CCR and Queen, visiting yard sales and craft shows and celebrating the 4th of July, watching the fireworks.  No sooner had the 4th of July ended, then Cindy began celebrating Christmas and continued well into January.

Loving Cindy forever are her son: Joseph Niekamp of Middleburgh; her sister: Nardeana (Phillip) Bohringer of Middleburgh; her brother: Kenneth (Megan) Schrom, Jr. of Cobleskill; her companion: Chris Groves of Esperance; many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Cindy's life will be held at a later date to be announced.
