Richmondville – Catherine Marie Ruffcorn, 63, of High Street, passed away at home on Thursday, January 14, 2021 from complications of the COVID-19 Virus.

Cathy was born in the Bronx on October 3, 1957 to Sally (Waldron) and George Ruffcorn.  She graduated from Middleburgh Central School in 1976 and continued her education at SUNY Cobleskill in Early Childhood studies.

Cathy worked many years at ARC and most recently with Visiting Nurses.

She enjoyed taking bus trips with friends and her favorite was touring through Ireland.  Cathy was a member of the Fusion Community Church in Cobleskill and enjoyed attending services.

Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by her brother: Michael Ruffcorn.

Loving her forever are her sisters: Terry (Lee) Lacy and Mary Bixby and her brother: George Ruffcorn, all of Middleburgh; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a future date to be announced and her family thanks you for remembering her and them through this time. Coltrain Funeral Home, LLC, 134 River Street, Middleburgh is honored to be caring for Cathy and her family.
