Middleburgh:  Carolyn G. Becker, 72, of Prospect Street, died Thursday, July 20, 2017 at her residence.

Carolyn was Born in Cobleskill on October 17, 1944 to Edwin and Edith (Van Nostrand) McCoy

She graduated Middleburgh Central School in 1963 and worked as a Developmental Aide for O.D. Heck in Schenectady.

Carolyn was a member of the Town of Middleburgh Planning Board and was a past president of both the Middleburgh Fire Department Auxiliary and the V.F.W.Post 2161 Auxiliary.

She enjoyed painting ceramics, hunting, camping on the Sacandaga, cooking and her home and family.

Carolyn was predeceased by her in laws, Charles and Aleene Becker, Sisters: Patricia (Frank) McCoy and Shirley Diamond Firemooch, and her grandson Zachary Burke.

Carolyn is survived by her husband Roger C. Becker whom she married on July 4, 1970 and their children: Janet (Stanley) Burke of Duanesburg and Amy (Bill) Rahn of Hiawassee, GA, grandchildren: Matthew Burke, Amber Burke, Jennifer Rahn, Jeniece Rahn, Ashley Burke, and Summer Rahn along with 7 great grandchildren.

At Carolyn's request, there will be no formal services.
