Brian Anderson, of Schoharie, found eternal peace on Monday, June 9, 2026.

He was born 64 years ago in Stamford, NY and lived locally for most of his life. He loved meeting people and sending cards and notes for special occasions and sharing a good joke. The music of the 60s and 70s lifted his spirit and he rarely missed his favorite classic TV shows.

He was also a devoted member of the Calvary Chapel of the Hills in Cobleskill and found great comfort and strength, reading his Bible.

Brian is survived by his wife: Elizabeth Anderson of Schoharie; his mother: Elsa VanVliet of Stamford; his aunt: Linda Voll; his brothers: Barry Wayne and Steven; his sisters-in-law: Virginia Sefcik and Helen (Paul) Frank; niece: Kerri (Dan) McIntyre and great-niece and nephew: Mary and Ruby, along with many other family members and friends.

A celebration of Brian's life will be held at 6:00PM on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at the Calvary Chapel of the Hills, 137 Legion Drive, Cobleskill, New York 12043.
