Obituary

Schoharie – Beverley M. Wainwright, 75, of Charles Court, died Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Ellis Hospital from declining health.

Born at home, in Schoharie, on March 9, 1944, Beverley was a daughter of Lillian K Wainwright and Harvey King.

Beverley enjoyed cooking whether at home or when she worked as a cook at the Cobleskill Diner and her loving and caring nature shined through the private home health care she gave to many.


Beverley also enjoyed camping in their motorhome, dancing and was a great shopper, rarely passing up a good buy.

Beverley was predeceased by her long-time companion: Frank Cardin; friend: Lester Felter, Sr.; son: Lester Felter, Jr.; grandsons: Josh Felter and Richard Spaulding; brothers: William "Butch" Anthony and infant brother Joey.

Cherishing her memory forever are her children: Duane Felter, of Howes Cave, Lillian Felter of Middleburgh, Theresa Spaulding of Virginia, Pamela (Jim) Shaul of Fultonham; grandchildren: Zach, Jessica, Kim, Dessa, Jerry, Winter and Vera Shaul, Perry and Russell Felter, Joanne and Steven Spaulding, Susan (Mike) Albrecht, Lacey Felter; great-grandchildren: Donald, Damien, T.J., Hunter, Blake, Katherine and Kendra.

While no formal services are being held, Beverley's family thanks you for remembering her and them through this time.  They also wish to extend their thanks to Beverley's Compassionate Care Team, including Holli Cook, Kristy Armlin, Tammy Stevens, Bonnie Fisher and others for taking great care and showing so much love to her.
