Town of Wright – Barbara M. Andrew, 92, of Cook Road died peacefully on August 28, 2018.

Barbara was born on March 25, 1926 in Schoharie to Sophia (Loucks) and Olin Lewis.

Quiet and reserved, Barbara found solace in taking care of her home, gardening and she enjoyed reading very much.  She was also interested in local history and was a former member of the county historical society.

She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Andrew in 2003 and most recently her sister, Myrtle Spencer, in 2017.

Barbara is survived by her closest friends and adopted family: Heather and Richard Vilegi and their children, Julianna and Ian of Middleburgh, along with other extended family members.

A memorial graveside service will be held at 10AM on Monday, September 24, 2018 in the Old Stone Fort Cemetery, Fort Road, Schoharie.
