Arthur C. Bogardus of Esperance, found eternal peace on Thursday, March 27, 2025.

Arthur was born on June 5,1944 in Cobleskill to Sadie (Radliff) and Arthur C. Bogardus, Sr. Art worked over 30 years at General Electric in Schenectady before retiring.

He loved camping, collecting model farm toys and International Harvester tractors.  He also loved visiting the Amish in Lancaster, PA and Iowa on vacations and dining out at local restaurants.

Art married Mildred (Graves) Bogardus on December 22, 1967 and was devoted to Millie for 58 years until she predeceased him on January 1, 2025.

Arthur is survived by his loving sister: Jean Bastiani; step-daughter: Carol Marshall (Paul Nikolaus); grandchildren: Amy Yacobucci, Ronnie Bever; great-grandchildren: Andrew Yacobucci, Taya Yacobucci; nieces and nephews including Clara Littlejohn and several other family members and friends.

His family also shares deep thanks for daily caregivers: Brenda, Kelly, Kim, Beth, Katrina and Rin. With Millie, Arthur was also predeceased by his step-daughter: Jean Hagadorn.

Inurnment will be in the Richmondville Rural Cemetery at a later date.
