Anthony Grasso, of Main Street, Middleburgh, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Cobleskill Regional Hospital.

Anthony was born 73 years ago on April 15, 1949 in Brooklyn to Carmella (Pantelleria) and Michael S. Grasso.  After graduating from Eli Whitney High School, Anthony served in the United States Army from 1969 – 1971 and trained successfully with the Signal Core.  A Union Baker by trade, he also worked in metal salvage, before moving to Middleburgh roughly 13 years ago.  Quiet and unassuming, Anthony's family will forever remember the compassion and loving care he gave to his mom and nieces.

Anthony's family includes his sister: Virginia (Frank) DeFilippi of Raleigh, NC; brothers: Thomas Grasso of West Babylon and Michael Grasso of Middleburgh; many nieces, nephews and his caregiver: Brenda Ryan.

A Memorial service will be held at 4:00PM on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Coltrain Funeral Home, 134 River Street, Middleburgh, NY.  Visitation with Anthony's family will be from 3-4:00PM, prior to the service.
