Middleburgh – Alice May Brown, 89, formerly of Middleburgh and New Hartford, died Friday, February 1, 2019 at Lutheran Care in Clinton, NY where she had lived for the last several years.

Alice was born on October 4, 1929 in Middleburgh to Mary Frances (Plough) and Celer Rorick.

She attended Middleburgh Central School and worked as a clerk for the former Oneida Market in Middleburgh, where she lived until moving to New Hartford, NY with her husband in 1973.  She was a member of the Methodist church, was a Rotary Ann in the Oriskany - Whitestown Rotary Club and enjoyed reading in her leisure.

Alice was predeceased in 1995 by her husband, Herbert S. Brown and will be loved forever by her family: Robert (Carolyn) Rorick of Whitesboro, Gary Rorick of Cobleskill, Michael (David Lolik) Rorick of Albany and several other nieces, nephews as well as great-nieces and great-nephews.

All are invited to a prayer service at 4:30PM with Alice's family on Wednesday, February 6, 2019, at Coltrain Funeral Home, LLC, 134 River Street, Middleburgh.  Spring interment will be in Middleburgh Cemetery.
