Middleburgh- Marian E. Nichols, 87, of Keyserkill Road, died at Albany Medical Center on Monday, October 2, 2017.
Marian was born in the Town of Fulton on December 1, 1929 to Mary Grace (Wormer) and Irving Bellinger.
Marian graduated from Middleburgh Central School and worked at several locations, picking berries at Bohringer’s Fruit Farm, an associate at Grand Union and lastly as a clerk at the former Valley Pharmacy.
Marian loved being outdoors, hunting and fishing. She crocheted, knitted, made hand crafts and was an accomplished painter, selling much of her artwork over the years.
She was predeceased by her son: Wayne “Butch” Nichols; sister: Bernice Ammons; brother: Alfred Bellinger.
Marian’s surviving family includes her daughters: Wendy (Ed) Simovich of Middleburgh, Karin (Jim) Zoltek of Largo, FL, Lynn (John) Scoville of Cobleskill; granddaughters: Katelynn Simmons of Cobleskill and Cory Sisson of MA.; her great-granddaughters: Lauren and Maddison Ostrander; her sister: Anna Mae Raines of AZ and many nieces and nephews.
Her family will celebrate her life privately at their own time and thank you for remembering Marian and them.
