Middleburgh – Lois A. Linster, 92, of Ecker Hollow Road, died Sunday, May 26, 2019 at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown.
Lois was born on August 19, 1926 in Cobleskill, to Lizzie (Curtis) and Milo France.
She worked in the nutrition department at Cobleskill Hospital, enjoyed sewing, word searches and camping but her greatest love was dancing. Her eyes lit up with joy, watching her great-granddaughter dance too, sharing her passion with generations of her family.
She was predeceased by her husband and dancing partner, Jesse Linster.
Keeping her memory forever are her daughter: Linda (Fred) Wood of Howes Cave; sons: Philip (Linda) Linster of Middleburgh and William (Lydia) Linster of Arizona; grandchildren: Lisa (Mark) Slater, Kayla Linster and Fred (Cindy) Wood; great-grandchildren: Jesse Wood, Brooke (Alex) Carroll, Tanner Slater, Jeslynn Grant; brother: Robert France of Cobleskill; many nieces and nephews.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 3:00PM on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Middleburgh Cemetery, Middleburgh.
