Warnerville – Linda M. Stephens, 71, of West Fulton road was welcomed home to Heaven on Wednesday, October 23, 2019.
Linda was born on December 4, 1947 in Malone, NY to Mollie Mae (Keyser) and Frank Nolette.
Growing up in a large family herself, Linda was a spitfire and raised her children with warmth, love and a good thump on their heads and instructions to pick their own switches when they acted up. All of this lead to beautiful relationships with her children, lasting memories and abounding love for her family and many adopted family members and pets.
She never missed a good card game of Pitch and was always hunting for anything to throw on the campfire to keep its glow and warmth growing around the campsite.
Linda was predeceased by her parents, her daughter: Connie Cerrone and her siblings: Anna Marie, Benjamin and Larry.
Loving her forever are her husband, Michael Stephens, of Warnerville, whom she married on January 21, 1967 and her daughters: Christina (Edward) Van Schaick of Cobleskill, Catherine (William) Van Steenburg of Cobleskill, Linda (Wayne Bougton) Stephens) of Fort Plain; grandchildren: Nancy (Joseph) All, Amanda (Joseph) Schultz, Christopher Stephens, Michael Van Steenburg, William (Michelle) Pierce, Paul (Evelyn Berry) Van Schaick, Theodore Stephens, Emily Stephens; great-grandchildren: Karson Van Schaick, Harper All, Colton Schultz, Raelynne Pierce, Harmony Pierce, Bentley Pierce, Braeden All; siblings: Brenda Perrotti, Denise Sawyer, Curtis Nolette, Joseph Nolette, Andrew Nolette; many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11AM on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at Our Lady of the Valley, Main St. Middleburgh. Interment will follow in the Breakabeen Cemetery. All are invited to visit with Linda’s family from 6PM-8PM on Monday, October 28, 2019 at Coltrain Funeral Home, LLC, 134 River Street, Middleburgh.
