Schoharie- Stephen A. Shako, 72, of Knox Road, died Monday, June 19, 2017 at the Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany from an extremely rare form of bile duct liver cancer.  His liver and kidneys were selflessly  donated to medical science to help learn more. Stephen was an avid deer hunter, camper, historian, hiker and devoted family man.

He was predeceased by his brother: Brent W. Shako.
