Middleburgh- Helen Pearson, 92, died Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Robinson Terrace in Stamford, where she had lived since 2012.
Helen was born in Middleburgh on March 29, 1925 to Cecil (Borst) and Jacob Cater.
She was a devoted homemaker who loved playing Bingo and keeping in touch with friends, staying abreast of everyone’s activities. She was active locally and rarely missed an event in town or a good meal and conversation at Mrs. K’s Kitchen, the Middleburgh Diner or with the new friends she made at Robinson Terrace.
Helen was predeceased by her beloved husband John and their lifelong family friends, Cassie and Cecil Savage.
Helen’s family encompasses all of the beautiful friends she made in life, including the Savage and Rivenburg families of Fultonham.
All are invited to a funeral service at 1:00PM on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Coltrain Funeral Home, LLC, 134 River St., Middleburgh. Interment will follow in the Savage Family Cemetery, Tetterbark Road, Fultonham. There will be no formal visitation.
