Words cannot express the deep sadness we feel at the passing of Betty/Nonna to our children. She loved fiercely and was kind beyond measure. We loved her with all of our heart and will never forget the love and kindness she gave to us. We feel forever indebted to her. She was patient and caring and we only hope she knew how much we learned from her about life. A truly beautiful woman with the biggest heart. We send you our deepest sympathies and you are all in our thoughts at this difficult time.

I remember when Betty & her sidekick, Stella came to the rescue. It seems a stray goose had camped out at a neighbor's house. He kept looking at himself in the chrome of the car. I gave Stella a call. She swiftly showed up with Betty in a car. They must have had a plan cause they swooped in with a big black garbage bag & caught the goose with only his head sticking out. They got back in the car and left just as swiftly as they came. It was like a dance. Betty had geese at the time & I think it became one of the gaggle. That was a long time ago, as Stella has been gone about 5 years. She and Betty were from the "Old Country" and had wonderful qualities I still try to emulate. So, now the two girlfriends can watch over us in Huntersland as we carry on. May she rest in peace. Rose Corigliano & the Huntersland Fire Dept. Auxiliary.

Dearest Joann and Family:
Our sincerest condolences. We knew your Mother for a very long time and she was part of our family. She was dear friends with my Mother and Father. I will remember Betty as a sweet, kind and generous woman. She was headstrong and determined and made her way through life without complaint. She adored you, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and your love filled her with such joy.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. God bless you, and God bless your dear Mother. She will be missed and always remembered.

Much Love and sincere condolences to you, Jo-Ann and to your extended family. Betty was a wonderful person and had a strong spirit that allowed her to do many things that people her age would never attempt! I enjoyed listening to her tell stories about her life and the struggles that she went through with courage and fortitude. She will be greatly missed!
